Enterprise-grade custom software development for startups and tech companies

AI-assisted. Human-owned.

One senior full-stack .net engineer who owns what ships and works with you directly

01 The problem

Sound familiar?

01
"We know what we want to build. What we’re afraid of is spending the budget on the wrong team - and finding out when it’s too late."

The wrong first build costs twice: the money you spend, and the rewrite after. That’s the version of this story most startups don’t survive.

02
"The first version was built fast - contractors, AI, whoever we could get. Now it’s breaking with real users, and no one left really understands it."

Every week in that state burns user trust, and every sprint adds code nobody owns. Velocity dies slowly - then suddenly.

03
"Our roadmap outgrew the team. Hiring is slow, agencies rotate people - and our own seniors are already the bottleneck."

Meanwhile the roadmap doesn’t wait: features stall in review, decisions get made without senior judgment, and the rework bill grows.

04
"The product makes money - but the stack is aging, and the people who built it are gone. Modernizing it keeps slipping."

Every quarter it slips, the options narrow: upgrades get riskier, hiring for the old stack gets harder, and one bad incident can freeze the whole roadmap.

Four different situations. The same question underneath: who’s going to own this?

Alex Kolesnikov

AI is industry standard now. The scarce thing is the human who integrates it into every step of delivery, designs the solution, owns the decisions, and wins when you win.

02 Why one senior

Not an agency.
Not just AI.

Comprehension you keep

Comprehension is part of the deliverable. I document how your system works - in plain language, alongside the code - as I build it. That’s the antidote to comprehension debt: understanding you keep, whether or not I’m in the room.

Direct, zero handoff

You talk to the person who builds and understands. No layers, no handoff latency, no rotating cast of contractors.

Skin in the game

I’m independent: each client is my reputation and my next opportunity. An agency profits from more hours - I profit from your product working.

AI-augmented, human-owned

The speed of AI, the judgment of a senior: I direct the tools, my review goes where the risk lives - and the responsibility stays with me, not the AI.

A human on the other end

Every conversation, from the first email to final delivery, is with me, the person building your system. AI never answers for you. No bots, no ticket queues, no canned replies, just a straight human answer when you need one.

Always someone to call

When something critical breaks, you have one person to call who’ll actually deal with it, not a team that gets to it next week, not a queue. Whatever broke, it’s on me to sort out.

04 Ways to work together

Start where it hurts.

Whichever fits, the engagement scales both ways - up when you need more, down when you don’t. No bench I need to keep busy.

Production rescue & technical advisory

A specific problem, a decision you can’t judge, or an AI-built prototype that has to reach production. I read the system, tell you the truth about it in plain language, and fix what blocks you.

Fits: a live product that breaks. An inherited or AI-generated codebase nobody understands. An established product on an aging stack

05 How we start

Small steps, no leap of faith.

Intro call

Thirty minutes. You tell me what’s breaking, blocked, or planned - I tell you honestly whether I’m the right person for it.

Assessment

Free assessment: I read your system and give you a written, plain-language picture of where it really stands.

First sprint

We start small. You see how I work - and what ownership feels like - before any bigger commitment.

06 How I work

You always know
where things stand.

Remote solo work fails on silence, not on skill - so these are defaults, not extras.

Daily updates

A short written update every working day: what moved, what’s blocked, what’s next. No chasing, no black box - including the days when I’m deep in a hard problem.

Depth on your terms

Plain language by default, full technical detail on request. You decide how deep each explanation goes, and you can change that along the way.

AI-assisted, human-directed

AI is built into every stage of my workflow - always under my direction, never on autopilot. Every merge passes the test suite; my own review goes where the risk lives. Speed from the tooling, accountability from a human.

Estimates that stay honest

Estimates come as ranges, not promises. When reality drifts from the plan - and in real software it sometimes does - you hear it the day I see it, not at the deadline.

07 Who you're talking to

Alex Kolesnikov

I’m Alex Kolesnikov on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab) - a senior full-stack .NET engineer based in Lviv, Ukraine (UTC+3). When you work with CyberArchitects, you work with me. That’s the whole point.

For over a decade I’ve built production systems with .NET, Angular, and Azure - since those stacks were current - and I work the way 2026 demands: AI as the power tool, comprehension and ownership as my job. What ships is a system I can explain, defend, and change safely a year from now.

No account managers, no juniors behind the curtain - one person, honestly and by design. You get direct answers in plain language from someone whose reputation rides on your product working.

08 What clients say

In their words,
not mine.

09 Before you ask

Fair questions,
straight answers.

What happens if you’re unavailable?

Everything lives in your repositories from day one - code, infrastructure, specifications, and plain-language documentation of how it all works. Daily written updates leave a paper trail. You own the system; continuity is designed in, not promised.

Who owns the code and the IP?

You do - work for hire, assigned under the contract. AI-generated or not, nothing ships until I’ve reviewed and reworked it, so everything in your repo is code I answer for.

How much of my time will managing you take?

Minutes, not hours. A short daily update you read in two; questions batched, decisions surfaced early. I’m self-managing - you set direction, not tasks.

Do you replace our CTO or team?

No. With an existing team I slot in under your CTO or lead as a senior executor with judgment. Where there’s no team yet, I own the build end to end - and I’ll tell you honestly when you’ve outgrown one person.

10 Contact

Tell me what’s breaking, what’s blocked, or what you’re about to build. I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right person for it.

Based in Lviv, Ukraine (UTC+3). I usually reply the same working day.
